I'm Anjani. For the better part of two decades I've worked at the point where education meets industry — helping students at Amity get ready for the jobs ahead, and helping companies find the people they're looking for.
Igniting the youthful minds with positivity and instilling a genuine spirit of success in their professional and personal lives.
Assisting students in the identification of their latent abilities, thereby enhancing their employability — ensuring a deserving and prosperous start to every career.
The work is simple to describe and endlessly complicated to do: take a student who has spent years in a classroom, and give them a genuine shot at a career that fits who they are. Multiply that by thousands, every year, across a group the size of Amity — and you have a sense of the scale.
What keeps me at it is the moment when something clicks for a student — the interview they didn't think they'd get, the offer they didn't expect, the confidence they found along the way. I've had a front-row seat to thousands of those moments, and I'm not done counting.
A few areas that take up most of my time at Amity.
End-to-end ownership of the placement process — from preparing students for their first interview to closing offers with employers across India, Japan, Europe, Singapore, Dubai and Austria.
Building and maintaining MoUs with global organisations, and securing government-funded DST research projects — work that keeps Amity connected to both commerce and science.
A dedicated track for Amity graduates at any career stage — from the first role to a mid-career move — and the driving force behind the first-ever mega Alumni Meet.
Running Amity University Summer School and the everyday work of career preparation — mock interviews, confidence-building sessions, and the quiet one-on-ones that often matter most.
These are team achievements — the record of many people pulling in the same direction over 19+ years, including 14 Industry Excellence Awards convened.
Talks, engagements, and time with students — the work as it actually looks.
A career built entirely at India's largest private university group — each decade expanding the scope of what campus placement can mean.
Leading the Centralised Campus Placement Division across the entire Amity Education Group — one of India's largest and most complex placement operations. Simultaneously serving as Head of Amity University Summer School, an international programme that brings students to the Noida campus from across the globe.
Drove large-scale campus placements, international employer tie-ups and the launch of a dedicated alumni lateral-hiring track. Key architect of the first-ever mega Alumni Meet at Amity University. Oversaw international visits to academic and industrial setups across Europe, Dubai, Singapore and Austria.
Scaled corporate engagement and formalised 30+ DST Government-funded research projects for the Amity group. Served as Organising Secretary for multiple IEEE-sponsored International Conferences across Amity campuses in India and abroad.
Built the early MoU pipeline and corporate recruitment framework that would scale into 50+ global partnerships. Convened the first Industry Excellence Awards, establishing a flagship forum that brought 500+ CXOs to the Amity ecosystem.
First placements with international employers across Japan, Singapore and Europe. Established the corporate alliance and certification framework that became the bedrock of Amity's placement identity.
PhD in Management (Business Administration & Strategy). Multiple papers in Scopus-indexed international journals. MBA in Marketing & International Business, GGSIPU New Delhi. PGDHRM, Amity University.
